Jamie L. Kreuser

Jamie Kreuser received her bachelor of arts degree in political science from the University of Minnesota and her juris doctor from William Mitchell College of Law.  She has been practicing criminal law since 2008. 

From 2006 to 2008, Ms. Kreuser worked as a law clerk at Colich & Associates, working on defense cases ranging from traffic offenses to murder.  From 2008 to 2009, Ms. Kreuser worked as an attorney at Colich & Associates, expanding her practice and knowledge of criminal defense.  In November 2009, Ms. Kreuser was hired by the Steele County Attorney’s Office. 

At the Steele County Attorney’s Office, Ms. Kreuser prosecuted felonies and worked as a child protection attorney.  Ms. Kreuser prosecuted a range of felony offenses, including first degree DWI, theft, criminal sexual conduct, failure to register offenses, assault, domestic assault, stalking, terroristic threats and drug sale/possession. 

Ms. Kreuser also worked on a variety of child protection cases, including CHIPS (child in need of protection or services) cases, termination of parental rights cases and voluntary transfers of custody.  As a prosecutor, Ms. Kreuser tried both jury trials and bench trials.

In October 2011, Ms. Kreuser returned to work as an attorney with Colich & Associates.  Ms. Kreuser focuses her practice in criminal defense, working on a variety of criminal offenses including DWI, assault and domestic assault, burglary and robbery, drug crimes, criminal sexual conduct and theft.
