
Andrew R. Small
Andrew Small has been practicing criminal law since 2001. He began his career as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Judge Robert A. Blaeser, and then moved to the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office. From 2001 to 2003 Mr. Small worked in the Juvenile Prosecution Division, handling a variety of criminal cases involving juveniles. From 2003 to 2005 Mr. Small worked in the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office’s Gang Unit, focusing on gun offenses. From 2005 until 2006 Mr. Small was in the Violent Crimes Division, prosecuting cases from Felony-level DUI’s to Homicides. While at the County Attorney’s Office he tried more than 40 cases—from Juvenile Petty Offenses to First Degree Homicides. He is licensed to practice in the state of Minnesota and the United States Federal Courts.
Since joining Colich & Associates, Mr. Small has represented clients charged with assault, burglary, driving while intoxicated, domestic assault, robbery, sexual misconduct, and theft.
